Antique 9k bloodstone signet ring with a boar crown depiction carved in. This family crest originates from Northern England, a town called Northumberland and this was the Swinburne family crest dating back to the 1660s. This heraldic crest has the family motto etched into the bloodstone in Latin: “semel et semper” or once and always.
