Beautiful Victorian turquoise starburst ring in 18k gold with a flower pattern on the shoulders of the band. Gorgeous antique ring, fully assayed with a London hallmark (Lion's head) and 'B' for 1850-51.
The history behind it: this ring is from London, England from 1850! In the 1700s, the British government mandated that every jeweler must mark their rings with the year it’s from, which makes this an incredible way to know all about the ring, and gives it more value! The crown stands for gold, the 18 stands for 18k, the mark for London is a lion's head, and the ‘B’ places this from 1850-51, according to the official assay office of England
